We left for Lukla on the 22nd but had to land in Phaplu as the weather in Lukla has gone a bit nasty with bad visibility. After waiting to see if flights would be allowed to Lukla with no success our team enjoyed a hike to Salleri in the Solokumba district. The next day proved no better for weather in Lukla so our Team has decided to be adventurous and hike the 3 Days to Lukla instead of waiting for the 10 minute flight. We hiked  a beautiful trail today and have arrived in Taksindu 10,170 ft where we are settled in for the evening. Tomorrow we will visit the Taksindu Monastery for a ceremony and then to Chulemu to visit Karma Sherpa‘s family before continuing on to Kharikhola. Everyone is stoked to be in Nepal and trekking!
