Food borne illness can be very dangerous when at high altitude. If one’s physical condition is compromised, Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) can attack quickly, putting one’s trek, safety and even life at risk. High altitude hiking is physically demanding and it is very important to take care of our body by consuming healthy, nutritious and clean foods.
