Our team has been training and packing and planning and we are excited to finally be heading to Katmandu where we will all meet up, each coming from various parts of the country. A brief visit in Katmandu, the capitol of Nepal and then a short and exciting flight on a twin engine Otter to Lukla where we begin our trek to Everest Base Camp. This journey will bring together a team of 16; some family, some friends and some individuals hoping to have that experience of a life-time in the remote areas of the Himalaya. We will be guided by the very experienced guides of Sherpa Mountain Adventures, a Sherpa-owned and operated travel company with offices in Boulder, Co and in Katmandu, Nepal.
