Yala Peak is one of Nepal's easier trekking peaks in the Langtang region. The trek commences through Syabrubesi to the farmland, villages and forest of Rhododendron, conifer, bamboos, oaks and pines. In the spring season, the forest looks enchanting with flowers all around. After passing this fascinating scenery, we follow the narrow gorge of the Langtang River until we ascend to the large alpine grasslands of Kyangin Gompa where the glacier meets the meadow. You can see yaks grazing in the open fields with the backdrops of the snowy peaks of Langtang Ri, Langtang Lirung and Dorjee Lakpa.

From Kathmandu, we drive to Syabru Bensi and then trek up the valley for four days. We explore the Langshisa glacier to help us acclimate and set up a high camp at 4,800 meters from where we make our summit. After an early start, we are on the summit by late morning with some amazing views into Tibet and across to Shisapangma (the only 8,000 meter peak situated wholly in Tibet). This trek enables you to explore the Langtang National Park which is the home to a variety of flora and fauna.
